An initial physio assessment at Optimove costs £90 and follow-ups are from £60. We work closely with you to create a personalised plan that includes evidence-based methods like physiotherapy and MSK Therapy to promote your recovery and help you enhance your athletic performance.

  • We will start your consultation by listening carefully about your symptoms and go over your health history and current well-being.
  • We will then continue with a physical examination that will include a Movement Assessment, Range of Motion assessment and relevant orthopaedic tests.
  • After a complete review of the findings we will be able to determine the best plan for achieving your goals and we will perform a treatment in order for you to see and feel what it will include. In the case of an online Consultation we will give you a sample of some self administered techniques.
  • You will then have an opportunity to decide how you wish to move forward.

Course of sessions for professional athletes
Insurance coverage for sessions of professional athletes is determined on a case-by-case basis by insurance companies. The criteria taken into consideration include the athlete’s specific sport and skill level. Consequently, an additional insurance fee may be incorporated into the overall course price to account for these coverage requirements.

How much does a physio cost in London?
At Optimove, your first consultation is £90 for 30 minutes. Follow-up sessions are £90 for 30 minutes, £135 for 45 minutes or £180 for 60 minutes. A course costs less per session. Six 30-minute sessions are £510, and twelve are £970, which works out at £80.83 a session.
Do I need a GP referral?
Usually not. You can book with us directly online or by phone. If you’re not sure physio is right for you, call us on 0203 538 8057 and we’ll talk it through.
Can I use my health insurance?
Yes. We’re recognised by Bupa, Bupa Global, AXA, Aviva, Allianz, Cigna, Vitality, WPA, UnitedHealthcare, Medigo and April International. Check with your insurer before your first visit, as some need a pre-authorisation code.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We need 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. If you cancel with less notice or miss your appointment, the full session fee is charged.
