Common questions
Private Pilates — FAQs
How much does private Pilates training cost in London?
Private Pilates sessions at Optimove Clinic start from £90 for 45 minutes and £135 for 60 minutes. Courses of 6 and 12 sessions are available at a reduced per-session rate. No membership is required and all pricing is fully inclusive.
What is the difference between private Pilates lessons and group classes?
In a private session, the instructor's attention is entirely on you. Your programme is designed around your specific goals, physical condition and pace of progression. Group classes follow a fixed structure that must accommodate all participants. Private Pilates lessons consistently produce faster, more targeted results.
Do I need any Pilates experience to book a private session?
No previous experience is necessary. Our instructors work with complete beginners through to advanced practitioners. Your first session includes a brief assessment so the programme is calibrated to your current level from the outset.
Are private Pilates sessions suitable for injury rehabilitation?
Yes. Private Pilates is particularly effective for post-injury rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery and managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our instructors are experienced in adapting sessions appropriately and work alongside our physiotherapy team where needed. The NHS recognises Pilates as beneficial for back pain, posture improvement and general rehabilitation.
How often should I attend private Pilates lessons?
For most clients, one to two sessions per week delivers the best results. Your instructor will recommend a suitable frequency based on your goals and current fitness level during your initial assessment.
Where is the private Pilates studio located?
We have two studios in London. Marylebone: 33 Cavendish Square, W1G 0PW (walk from Oxford Circus). West Kensington: VisitHealth, 1 Blythe Rd, W14 0HG (walk from West Kensington station).
