Unfortunately not.
Be wary of free consultation offers as this often indicates a therapist that does not value their own time, and are likely not to meet the necessary standards of care.

In most cases there is no need for a GP referral but if you are not sure if seeing us is the best option for your care please feel free to call us. You can also find additional information on when to see a GP, when to call 111 and when to call 999 or to go to A&E under each treatment page.

It is a skilled application of hands-on techniques by skilled clinicians to manipulate soft tissue, joints, and nerves. Manual therapy is important for multiple body systems, because hands-on manipulation can be very effective to decrease pain and tissue tension, improve quality of movement, and guide a patient through their exercises.

Manual therapy uses hands on techniques. The therapist needs to be specialised and licensed to be entitled to use these techniques.

Physical therapy is a broad field that focuses in helping patients through movement and exercise to overcome issues spanning from respiratory to musculoskeletal. Physical therapists can only perform manual therapy techniques if they do additional studies on manual therapy.

We are normally able to offer you an appointment within 24-48 hours. There are no waiting lists.

We will start your consultation by listening carefully about the reasons of your visit and go over your health history and current well-being.

We will then continue with a physical examination that will include a Movement Assessment, a Range of Motion assessment and relevant orthopaedic and neurological tests.

After a complete review of the findings we will be able to determine the best treatment plan for you.

You will then have an opportunity to decide how you wish to move forward.

When attending your appointment please wear comfortable clothing that doesn’t restrict movement and allows access to any specific injury or pain. Clothing shouldn’t restrict your ability to move your shoulders, knees, hips, and spine so that your clinician can understand your full range of motion. Sports clothing for example shorts/ leggings and sports t-shirt will be ideal if possible.

There is no pre-determined number of treatments for specific conditions, but following your initial assessment, your therapist will discuss and agree on a treatment plan with you. They should be able to give you an approximate guide at this point.

Customers who do not attend will be charged the full fee of the appointment. Please note that we require 48 notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
